office, £70. these are, what i consider, a great alternative to the classic dr martin boots (which you can also buy here). i can imagine these would look great with black tights and a tight black skirt under a black coat. ♥

it's been slowly creeping into the mainstream, but the western trend is definitely getting everyone's attention.. see the urban outfitters page



denim denim denim... the jacket is so now (ironic seeing as all denim jackets remind me of are the 90s).. and the denim shirt.. my alternative:



not my photo of it but i bought the same top from h&m a couple of weeks ago, £7 in the sale ^^ i wear mine open, with my AA tri blend v neck and high waisted skirt, or over my floral primarni tunic from last summer. comfy, cute, simple. this is my friend wearing her slightly high waisted denim shorts from topshop in a simple way (she works there)



finally, these are just a couple of nice outfits from facehunter that cought my eye.




love that red primark dress, love it more in blue, but i won't be buying it.. i rarely buy anything from primark nowadays because i know everyone else in the UK will have it! like the sunglasses i bought from there (but they were £2 each, who can say no to that?)

i was going to buy that stripy red top from topshop, i still might as it's such an easy outfit to throw together.

i always thought i would end up with you eventually...

gah - i've been crap at updating. only because i have had NO MONEY for about two months, i cant remember the last time i went shopping, it's too painful.. i have a job now though and should be going out less with exams coming up, so yay! i've been thinking about what to take to benicassim, never been on holiday with my friends before so it should be really good... i want to pack lightly though and bring as little as possible! i'm scared if i bring anything valuable it will get stolen, anyway here is what i'm thinking of taking so far:

BENICASSIM 08

- straw fedora hat
- aviators
- white rim wayfarer sunglasses, i already have black but they dont really suit me
- white vest/wifebeater just for throwing on at the beach
- bikinis, of course
- converse / nike dunks, i dont know what shoes would be suitable for a music festival on the beach, i think trainers would be cool
- bum bag /fanny pack, to hold the essentials when dancing!
- over the knee socks for cold nights?
- bright red lipstick, for dressing up a bit at night!
- plaid checked shirt, an alternative to a cardigan as it's gonna be so hot
- perhaps a vintage denim jacket

and just in general.. i'm keeping an eye out for dr martin boots in charity shops, there are lots near where i work now so i can pop in during my lunch break!

i had a lovely christmas, santa was extremely generous this year! ;) i'm absolutely knackered though. i've been to central london two days in a row. the sales are pretty disappointing to be honest; on boxing day i bought a lux top and pink vintage bag from urban outfitters (the bag is being returned unless i find matching shoes though) a whole bunch of underwear from la senza and a bright pink (i never wear pink, ergh) tulip dress with small black polka dots by motel from the big topshop. today i returned the underwear as none of it fit very nicely, i was just sucked in by the 1/2 price sale signs. i would much rather have the 30 quid back in my acount which is draining day by day. i also exchanged the faulty american apparel romper suit which i got for xmas, and the pink motel dress for a black version with pink polka dots. however it's slightly too lose around my lack of boobs! i might return it when the queues die down. the office sale was a bit rubbish, i would have bought a nice pair of look-at-me party heels but they were all full price and i owe my dad money for the spice girls tickets. ah well, it's my birthday soon!

i have lots of pics i want to upload, but we moved back to our old house just before xmas and our computer hasn't been set up yet :(
